生物多様性・生態系サービスのシナリオ分析に関連する研究テーマで、私がB4学生の頃から取り組んでいる重点課題です。
2050年や2100年の社会の将来シナリオのもとで、植生動態・生態系サービス・野生生物の生息適性の変化をシミュレーションしています。 トップダウンにシナリオを示すこともあれば、ボトムアップで地域のステークホルダーと共にシナリオを作成することもあります。
対象地域は主に、
- 北海道東部に位置する別寒辺牛川流域 (環境省推進費S15 PANCESプロジェクト)
- 北海道道南の国有林 (基盤A北方林科研プロジェクト)
- 福島県奥会津地域 (国立環境研究所福島支部との共同プロジェクト)
- 新潟県佐渡市 (環境省推進費S21 aim-bプロジェクト)
- 滋賀県 (滋賀県琵琶湖環境科学研究センターとの共同プロジェクト)
です。地域の行政の方やステークホルダーの方との連携を重視しています。

Haga, Chihiro is an landscape ecologist conducting a scenario analysis of nexuses between biodiversity and ecosystem services at a local scale. His research experiences include the application of the process-based forest landscape simulator for social-ecological systems modeling.
