佐渡市では、人口減少・高齢化による管理放棄林や耕作放棄地の増加に加え、脱炭素を目的とした再エネの導入が計画されています。今後2050年に向かって、脱炭素化することを前提条件とした時に、生物多様性保全や地域の産業振興はどのようになっていくのか？この問いに答えていくプロジェクトです。私はLANDIS-IIモデルの運用担当として参画しています。耕作放棄地の植生遷移のモデル化にも取り組む、挑戦的な課題です。 関連する研究プロジェクト: S21-5(2) 「里山ランドスケープを対象にした統合評価・シナリオ分析と社会適用（代表: 関島恒夫）」
